Hi Fanny and Greg,

I’m writing to let you know how much I appreciate all the work that went into planning
the (Italy) trip for us.

(etr leader) Arianna was excellent!! She was flexible when necessary, but always in
conversation with myself and the other chaperone. She was also very aware of the
itinerary and the requests we had made ahead of time, which I really appreciated. She
took great care of us and I would absolutely request her again when SIS does another
art trip in the future.

Everything seemed so smooth.

• The hotel in Florence was excellent.  The staff were kind and accommodating (even the students noted this), the breakfast varied and substantial, and the rooms were comfortable and clean.
• The gelato stop at Vivoli was really special–thank you! The surprise was exciting for students, and the gesture was appreciated by all of us. Students specifically mentioned this in our final reflection at the end of the trip.
• The tour guides at specific sites had a good energy level and pace for high school students. I would request all of them again. They were responsive to the students and kept us moving.

We truly had an excellent trip thanks to all of your work. Thank you again for everything
and I look forward to working with you in the future.
