As etr’s second most popular service destination country, Vietnam, has a wealth of opportunity for energetic students. Building traditional homes for the rural poor, refurbishing a Hanoi orphanage which cares for children and young adults afflicted with muscular diseases and birth defects and constructing small homes which provide protection for at-risk women are just a few of the programs in which etr is involved.
The whole trip, from start to finish, was extremely well organized and thoroughly professional. I have supervised many international field trips during my time as a teacher and this was up there with the best.
In conjunction with our service projects, we offer a comprehensive list of pre and post-project cultural and physical activities which can include cruising on Ha Long Bay, taking the Reunification Express south to explore the ancient capital of Huế or trekking in the highlands of Sapa…all customized to meet your requirements.

What a trip! (etr program leader) Hung did a fantastic job and the orphanage experience will be remembered by everyone. The closing ceremony was so very touching...everyone was in tears. The kids feel really good about what they did. Thanks for following our wish list and putting together such a wonderful WOW Week trip for our students.BD, Saudi Arabia
