In 1993, etr began operating trekking programs to Nepal. After all these years, and all the trips we do, the etr Nepal Adventure remains one of the most sought-after trips in the etr repertory. Though all etr Nepal programs are custom designed, most groups opt to include three distinct aspects which complement each other fully: an in-depth look at the historic, religious, and ethnic diversity of the capital Kathmandu; an appreciation of wildlife and environmental issues while in the Chitwan National Park; and, of course, the understanding and rigorous physical challenge of a rural community service activity.
