I want to tell you both what a fantastic trip we had.
It was so fun and largely due to Sirah. She is an amazing guide in every possible way. Nothing gets past her. We had wonderful meals which included eating outside next to the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge. How many school groups can say they have done that? I am so impressed about her diligence in getting us everywhere, on time, and with ease.
The hotels were excellent. The Lido was a perfect place to stay especially for the Biennale, which by the way was really good. I can’t wait to come back and see it in two years. The taxi boat ride from the Lido to the airport is something that no one will forget (4 beautiful wooden boats for all of us). I felt like a celebrity. Hard to believe one can arrive to an airport via a boat! There is so much more I can say, but you can see our blog which will describe it all!
